I'd noticed a bit of a pattern developing with my barbel catches and moon phases.

With the river on a warming trend I put the two together and added an 8mm crab Pellet-O. The result was a fish bigger than the one I caught on the same moon phase a month previously. Was it the moon, the river conditions, the bait or simply coincidence? The jury's still out!
