I've just had a lovely day's fishing, catching 30lb of F1s using Sonubaits' F1 Groundbait and a small Method feeder.
The catch earned me a valuable section win on the Cornish Individual Winter League.
I drew on Python Lake on the wides and opted for F1 groundbait because I wanted to give the fish a sweet fishmeal groundbait.
And, because F1 groundbait contains fishmeal and a secret sweetener that has the right level of appeal, I knew it was just the ticket.
I tackled up a Preston 10ft mini Carp feeder rod and used dead red maggot on the hook to catch 24 fish for my weight.
I am now selling loads of F1 groundbait at White Acres because the anglers targeting silverfish love it, and the carp anglers like it for winter work because it does not have an overpowering fishmeal smell.
My tip to anglers wanting more bites on the Method in winter is to use Sonubaits' F1 groundbait because most fishmeal-based groundbaits are too strong, taste-wise, in the cooler water.
I am also looking forward to trying the new Sonubaits F1 liquid and the Sonubaits F1 Competition Match Hooker pellets which have just been released. I'm certain they will find favour among the Sonubaits F1 groundbait converts down here in the South West.
