Give your match results some extra oomph by copying some of the tricks I have employed, using products from the Sonubaits range including Liquid Scopex, Sonu Red Dye and Super Scent Corn.

This month has seen the weather completely turn and the rise in temperatures has resulted in fisheries everywhere giving great returns.
For me this has resulted in a great run of form, which in one period saw me record three wins on the bounce at Lindholme Fishery near Doncaster. Sonubaits have certainly played a major part in this success, but in a number of different ways.
Match 1: With chopped worm starting to work at my local Lindholme fishery, it became apparent that the fish were responding to the cloud it created. To help this process I have been using the Sonubaits red dye and CSL concentrate, mixed together with the chopped worm. This combination definitely kept the resident trout and chub happy and allowed me to catch 35lb of them in my 57lb winning bag. Don’t add too much though, the dye, in particular, is very strong.
Match 2: This match was to be dominated by pellet fishing. With fishery-only pellets allowed for feed, I have been adding a squeeze of liquid Scopex during the soaking process to give them something different. A teaspoon full is enough for half a bag of pellets. I mix this into the pellets with some water the night before and place in a sealed plastic bag in the fridge. The Sonubaits Fin Perfect Expander hookers get the same treatment, and helped me to a 65lb of F1s Midweek win.
Match 3: Having drawn a peg that held trout and chub again, I settled on the same combination as match 1. This worked for at least half the match before the fish backed off. Moving on to the pellet line was difficult in the strong wind, so I caught started a 6m line with pellets and Sonubaits Super Scent Scopex Corn. The heavier corn gave a more steady presentation in the wind and I took a further 10 big F1s in the last hour helped me to the treble with a 75lb winning weight.
This run of success went to show that by adapting to the conditions on a given day and trying something different, it is definitely possible to get a run of results. It helps if you draw well, too!
